Company Update, August

August 9, 2022

Due to continued headwinds in the broader economy and shifts in our business needs at this time, this August we had to make the difficult decision to part ways with approximately 30% of our Shogun team via a global organizational restructuring.

We spent the better part of six months developing our long-term strategy, and then evaluated which roles, skill sets and resources were required to execute on this strategy.

Ultimately, we decided to undertake a global reorganization, and eliminated roles that we anticipate will not fit into the organization long-term. We believe we are in a healthy position to weather any potential additional headwinds that the tech industry or economy might face.

We are thankful for the contributions of our former Shogies and we are doing everything we can to help our affected Shogies land on their feet, including providing outplacement services, networking support, generous severance, continuation of benefits where applicable, and more.
