Adding videos to a page

This tutorial will teach you how to add a video to a page via Youtube or Vimeo, and use the Video component.

To add a video to a page only requires a few steps. At this time we only allow videos that are hosted on Youtube and Vimeo.

  1. Click and drag the Video component from the toolbar on the right. It looks like a play button.

  2. In the toolbar on the right you will see that the Video component is highlighted and there are a few options at the top. The most important is the URL field.

To get the value for this field just navigate to the video you want to display, then copy the URL from the URL bar at the top of your browser. Paste the URL into the URL field for the Video component.

You can see that the video is immediately rendered in the editor. You cannot play it from here, but it is loading properly.

Now you have a video in your page. There are two options, autoplay and loop just below the URL field.

Autoplay automatically plays the video when the page loads. Loop will restart the video when it ends.
