How to use the Columns component

A tutorial on how to use the Columns component.

Columns are where you can get real control over the way a page looks. In a nutshell, columns split the page into multiple dropzones. Dropzones are where you can drop templates on the page. So if you want to have an image on the left and some text on the right, you would need a 2 Column component. To use:

  1. Click and drag the Columns component into the page editor.

The component is automatically highlighted and you can see on the right there is a toggle for the number of columns.

  1. Select the number of columns that you want. You can see the change reflected in the editor immediately.
  2. Now you can start dragging other components into the Column component's dropzones.

By using columns you can break up the look of your page and create most types of pages.
