Learn how to use editable Page Templates as a starting point for your own page creation.

Shogun offers a range of page templates that can be used as a starting point for your own pages. These come in a wide range of variants to help you get the look that is right for you.

Page templates are great for 2 purposes:

1. Learning how pages are built and how elements are styled inside of Shogun

2. Editable templates are a great starting point for your own page creation.

How to use Shogun's pre-made templates

Using the page templates that we offer is a breeze! You select the template when you start the page creation process. You can even preview a page template before going ahead with using it.

Just hover your mouse over "Build or edit a page", and then select "Browse Templates". If you've made any templates previously you'll see them first - otherwise, you can click "All Shogun Templates" to see our template library.

How to create and use your own templates

As well as having the ability to select a pre-made template, you can also create your own templates. Once created, these templates will appear at the top of your template list when creating a new page.

For more information on how to create a template, and how to use templates, you can refer to the article below.

Please note: templates can only be used while creating Standard pages or Blog posts. They cannot be used for Product and Collection pages at the moment.

Disabling pre-made templates

If you would not like to see the pre-made templates during your page creation process. You can find the toggle to turn these on and off within your Shogun settings.
